COLOMBO ART BIENNALE
Colombo Art Biennale (CAB) was co-founded by Hempel in 2009 to strengthen the platform and enhance awareness of the talent of Sri Lankan contemporary art and culture both within Sri Lanka and around the globe. CAB has since gone on to host 4 editions to include artists from around 30 countries in Europe, the US and Asia.
CAB has formed Cultural Partnerships. Amongst many The British Council for Edinburgh Fringe, Sovereign Art Foundation Hong Kong, Goethe Institut and New North & South Programme as feature in Frieze.
CAB has also been extensively involved in many Education & Community engagement programmes.
Director of CAB AH has been invited to participate in a number of Panel Discussions including: India Art Fair, Dakha Art Summit, Colombo Art Biennale
